Before you write in
Including these three things usually lets us fix it on the first reply:
- Your
.myshopify.comdomain - The subscription or contract ID, if it concerns one subscriber
- The date and time the problem happened, and your store's timezone
Common questions
The subscribe option is not showing on my product page
Three things have to be true: the selling plan must be published, not a draft; the product must be attached to that plan; and the app block has to be added once per theme — Online Store → Themes → Customize → Add block → Apps → Marka Subscrify, then Save.
A renewal charge failed
Shopify attempts the charge against the customer's payment mandate. When it fails, the app runs your configured retry schedule and emails the customer a link to update their payment method. If every retry fails, the contract moves to the status you chose — paused or cancelled. The full attempt history is on the subscription's timeline.
Can a customer change their delivery date or address themselves?
Yes, in the customer portal, within the limits you set — you decide how far ahead changes can be made, how many skips are allowed, and whether a change needs email confirmation.
What happens to my subscriptions if I downgrade or uninstall?
Nothing is deleted. Subscription contracts live in Shopify and survive both. Downgrading pauses configuration beyond the new plan's limits and keeps the data. Uninstalling stops the app from processing renewals but does not cancel your customers' subscriptions — decide what should happen to active subscribers first, and tell them.
How do I cancel?
Switch to the Free plan inside the app, or uninstall. Cancelling is handled through Shopify billing and pro-rated by Shopify.
