Terms of Service

1. These terms

The app is published by Marka Modern Retail Private Limited, trading as House of Marka, whose registered office is at Basement, Plot No. 39, Sector 27, Gurugram, Haryana 122001, India. By installing the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall it.

2. The service

The app generates order documents — invoices, packing slips, pick lists, receipts, credit notes, quotes, return forms and gift receipts — from the data in your Shopify store, using templates you design. Documents are stored as immutable snapshots so an issued document can always be reproduced exactly as it was issued.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and legal adequacy of the documents you issue, including tax treatment, invoice numbering requirements, and any statutory wording your jurisdiction requires. The app provides tools and templates; it does not provide tax or legal advice. You must keep your Shopify account secure, use the app only for your own store's documents, and must not attempt to disrupt the service or access another merchant's data.

4. Billing

Paid plans, where offered, are billed through Shopify's billing system on your Shopify invoice. Charges are counted per document generated, never per untouched order. You can change or cancel a plan at any time in Shopify; cancellation stops future charges and does not refund the current period unless required by law. Documents already issued remain viewable after cancellation.

5. Availability and support

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Support is available by email at support@houseofmarka.com.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data, except where that exclusion is not permitted by law.

7. Termination

You may uninstall at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or for unlawful use, with notice where practicable.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above will change and continued use after that date means acceptance.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
